The "Epstein Class" and the Biometric Siege: Surveillance from Nigeria to New York

The revelations surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein network have often been framed by the corporate media as a prurient tale of individual depravity. However, for those examining the world through the lens of anti-imperialism and class struggle, the Epstein saga was never merely about the crimes of one man. It was a window into the "Epstein Class"—a transnational nexus of billionaires, intelligence assets, and political elites who maintain global hegemony through mutual complicity and the deployment of advanced repressive technology.

At the heart of this class’s power is a global infrastructure of surveillance that links the occupation of Palestine to the ports of Nigeria and the streets of New York. This is a story of how a "sick system" treats the global population as chattel, and how Israel has become the primary laboratory for the tools of this subjugation.

Israel: The Laboratory of Repression

To understand the biometric siege, one must first understand why the Israeli state occupies a central role in the global security market. For over 75 years, the occupation of Palestine has served as a permanent, live-fire laboratory for the development of repressive technology.

When Israeli defense firms market their "Gaza-tested" biometric scanners, AI-driven drones, and phone-hacking software like Pegasus, they are selling products that have been refined on a captive population. This "field-tested" branding is a unique selling point in the international arms trade. Because the Palestinian people are denied the protections of sovereignty and human rights, the Israeli military-industrial complex can experiment with forms of "environmental warfare" and surveillance that would be legally or politically impossible elsewhere.

Gaza, in particular, has been transformed into a "smart" open-air prison. Every movement is tracked; every face is scanned; every communication is intercepted. This is what the Black Agenda Report describes as the "psychopathology of power"—a state where technology is used not to advance human life, but to perfect its strangulation. For the "Epstein Class," this laboratory is essential. It provides the technological "teeth" for an imperialist world order that is increasingly unpopular and must rely on total surveillance to maintain control.

The Nigerian Connection: Biometrics as Colonial Control

One of the most alarming manifestations of this global siege is the increasing reliance of African nations on Israeli surveillance infrastructure. A primary example is the recent deal involving the management of Nigerian ports and the implementation of biometric scanners and surveillance systems—technologies directly linked to firms within the Epstein-intelligence orbit.

Why are African nations buying these Israeli-tested methods? The answer lies in the intersection of neo-colonialism and the "blackmail state."

  1. The Export of the "Security State": Many African ruling elites, often propped up by Western interests, face internal dissent from a working class struggling under the weight of IMF-imposed austerity. The Israeli model of "total control" is attractive to these regimes because it promises the ability to monitor and neutralize opposition before it reaches the streets.

  2. Intelligence Integration: As documented by The Grayzone, Israeli intelligence (Mossad) and private firms often act as conduits for Western imperialist interests. When a nation like Nigeria integrates Israeli biometric systems into its national infrastructure, it effectively hands over the keys to its sovereignty. The data collected doesn't just stay in Abuja; it flows through the servers of the "Epstein Class" in Tel Aviv and Washington.

  3. The Biometric "Green Revolution": Just as "green" energy is often a cover for resource extraction, "modernization" and "digital identity" programs in Africa are often covers for a new form of biometric colonialism. By digitizing the identities of the African working class, the ruling elite can more efficiently manage labor, suppress strikes, and facilitate the extraction of minerals like cobalt and lithium—resources essential for the "Green Billionaires" of the West.

The "Epstein Class" and the Complicity of Power

The term "Epstein Class" refers to the specific way this surveillance network is maintained. It is not just about technology; it is about human management through blackmail and transactional depravity. The Epstein files, which remain largely suppressed, highlight how powerful figures in finance (such as JP Morgan) and politics were brought into a web of mutual complicity.

This class doesn't just use surveillance to catch "criminals"; they use it to ensure that no one within the halls of power can ever challenge the system. If every politician has a "dossier" compiled by intelligence-linked entities, then the "Architecture of Lies" remains secure. This is why the U.S. media barely touches the deep links between Epstein and Israeli intelligence; to do so would be to pull the thread that unravels the entire imperialist tapestry.

From the West Bank to the Bronx: The Siege Comes Home

The "Biometric Siege" is not something that only happens "over there." The same technology tested on Palestinians and sold to Nigeria is being deployed by the NYPD and ICE in New York.

Abolish ICE activists have long noted the "Gaza-fication" of the U.S. border and urban centers. The biometric scanners used at airports, the facial recognition software used to identify protesters at Black Lives Matter rallies, and the "predictive policing" algorithms used to target Black and Brown neighborhoods are all part of the same global market. When we fight for the abolition of ICE, we are not just fighting a domestic agency; we are fighting a node in the global Epstein-intelligence network.

The psychopathology that views a Palestinian child as a "target" in a database is the same psychopathology that views a Haitian migrant or a Bronx resident as a data point to be tracked, detained, and deported. The siege is unified, and therefore, our resistance must be internationalist.

Breaking the Siege

The "Epstein Class" relies on our belief that these technologies are "neutral" tools for "safety" and "security." We must reject this lie. Biometrics, in the hands of the current ruling class, are the digital shackles of the 21st century.

To break the siege, the working class across the globe—from the petrochemical plants of Iran to the ports of Nigeria and the tenements of New York—must recognize their shared enemy. We must support the call for a total release of the Epstein files to expose the "blackmail state." We must demand an end to the "testing ground" in Palestine by supporting the BDS movement and the total liberation of the Palestinian people.

Most importantly, we must build a political movement that recognizes that "Western values" of privacy and freedom are an oxymoron as long as our data and our bodies are being managed by a pathological elite. The light of Palestine—the resilience of a people who have survived the most advanced surveillance system in history—shows us that the human spirit cannot be fully digitized. We must replace the biometric siege with a global architecture of solidarity.
