Hollywood’s Selective Anti-Imperialism: Defending Mark Ruffalo from Zionist Smears Without Excusing His NATO-Left Imperialism

The same Democratic leaders Ruffalo campaigns for are the ones authorising tens of billions of dollars in foreign military financing, expanding military bases across the globe, and enforcing suffocating economic sanctions on nations across the Global South.

The Imperialist Contradiction

The tragedy of liberal anti-imperialism is its inability—or refusal—to see the imperialist system as an interconnected whole.

You cannot meaningfully oppose the genocide in Palestine while endorsing the NATO war machine in Europe and supporting the imperialist political party that funds both. The tech infrastructure built by Oracle, Palantir, and Google isn't just used against Palestinians—it is part of a unified global surveillance apparatus designed to enforce U.S. unipolar dominance worldwide.
